Overview of your residential trip

Upon arrival at Waddow Hall, your group will be greeted by our activity team and shown to your private base room, available throughout your stay for meals, storage, and school activities. Staff will receive welcome packs and schedules, and we’ll break the ice with the children before the adventures begin. After lunch, instructors lead your first activities, with juice, fruit, tea, and coffee provided at breaks. Dinner is served in the main hall, offering a chance to meet other schools while seated together as a group. Evenings include an energetic session followed by hot chocolate to wind down. The next day begins with a cooked breakfast and more activities, ending with lunch, a thank-you presentation, a souvenir badge for each child, and time to share feedback—or even book your next visit!

Whether its climbing, padding or team building in the woods, our aim is simple- to help young people challenge themselves, support each other, and go home with memories they'll never forget. I look forward to welcoming your school to waddow hall

Graham Geldard, Acting Head of Centre

We are fortunate to have such a treasure on our doorstep, the centre provides an opportunity for all ages to challenge themselves, develop life skills, grow in confidence and enjoy life outside the classroom. As a customer, ex-headteacher and volunteer supporter, I wholly recommend the Waddow experience.

Janet Taylor, Chair, Waddow Hall Trust

As a school, we are delighted to support a local resource like Waddow Hall. Set in its beautiful grounds, it provides a safe and charming environment for our children to explore, experience outdoor adventurous activities and make memories that will last a lifetime.
